Hi all!... Wow I really don't like scrapbooking it takes to long and to much thought... But I like my out come... here are to pages the first one is a Halloween page no picture yet... and the second one is a page of my baby boy when he was only a year old, our first spring living in NC... He is sitting in the front yard discovering a piece of bark under the tree... I just love that innocence that they have when they are looking at something and discovering it for the first time and finding there senses of touching everything.... That was a Perfect Day!

Hi all, How are you all doing on this beautiful Sunday, I just love when you wake up in the morning and it's cold outside and inside, instead of having to put the air conditioner on to make it cool inside... I love to wake up and feel the cold feeling of winter coming...
This is a card that I came up with, I made this sample card for my BF in Bronx, NY for her to see ...
During the summer I made her some baby announcements for a family member baby shower and they just loved them.... So Joann asked if I can make another set of baby announcements for a baby shower that she is going to next month and of course I said yes I love to come up with new ideas and show off my work ...
The bad part is that the girl that is having the baby does not know what she is having so I have to try to make something that is unisex.... As well Joann told me that her friend like earth tones colors and these are the colors that I came up with... I used Mellow Moss and Choco Chip CS and Very vanilla for the mat for the Bunny... I used the water color pencils (brown) from SU which I love to use... And the bow I used a green that almost matches with the mellow moss but the pictures shows something else but believe in real life the green bow almost matches the mellow moss.... Oct. 20th they will never forget each others B-day ... She is going on her 19th year and my son is going on to his 14th year ... Yes I can't believe that I am going to have a 14 year old...

Here is the card that I made her it is hard to come up with something that is good for her age.. But I know whatever I send she is going to love...

Hi, all here is a Pink Christmas card I just love the simplicity of these cards they took me no time to make and I just love how clean and simple that they came out ... I think they are ready to be sent on there way to give Holiday Spirits to family friends...
I Just can't express how upset I am I took my test on Sep. 12Th and they said that we would get our certification within 30 days from the day we took our test ... I still have not received anything yet... I do know that I passed and that is it no certification card yet and without that I can't apply for work or volunteer... I have called them and left messages and no one has called back .. go figure... hopefully I will be getting something in the mail this week... The only reason I am worried, our mail is always so screwed up were I live and they have been plenty of times were I have not received really important mail... but I always get my bills.. go figure that one out too... So when NC OEMS calls me back and if they said they have already sent it I am going to be upset and heading to the post office...

Hi, all I have to say I love Bashful blue... I don't know what is going on but this year I am starting to like to make Holiday with the pastels colors it is a little different then always making them with reds Burgundy's and dark blues... I think it is soothing and cheerful looking...

I have been trying to make myself make a card or two a night after everyone has gone to bed and I can say that I can actually relax .. If you see a post for that day then you know that I had time in the evening to make a card instead of going to bed and falling asleep... will here is my card...

Frightful Halloween Treat Holder

Hi, all sorry I haven't posted but my camera is acting kinda funny lately... I hope these pictures are good I hate to post the pictures when they don't look good...

I got this idea from Lauren Meaders blog... She made one for thes Holiday as hot cocoa holder and I loved it...

I didn't make exactly like hers but I made my own version with a Halloween theme... I haven't thought of what I want to put in it, so I can give away as aHalloween gift.. if you have any suggestion please leave me a comment with your suggestion I will kindly appreciate it...

Hi all! ... Well I had to make something a little different so I got my craft out and started to make a card with a little double imaging stampin it looks a little like a shadow... I took the white craft first stamped my image then I stamped with the color of the CS stamp pad and slightly away from your image stamp again slightly away from your first image... I hope this helps...

Hi all! How is everyone doing will I can't believe that I have had some time to stamp... I really have to say that I got my Mojo back "yeah baby!".... I know I have been showing a lot of Christmas cards but don't forget I told you I have a great big list of family and friends that want cards so I have to make as many as I can to send them off ... I am going to try to send them out around thanksgiving time ... hopefully by then I can send every one's card sets out so they can have time to send out there homemade Christmas cards....
and I have to work on my own cards that I want to send out too....
Okay will here is a card that I made real quick last night ... I had took out this set on Saturday and I couldn't come up with anything... and yesterday I came in from outside playing with the kids and I sat down at my table while they were showering and the light switched on and this is what I came up with... Hi all!... I just love when I use white CS to make cards with, it makes your cards look clean simple but muched loved... Again I used the whole Flaky Friends stamp set, I used every stamp in the set, one stamp for each card and I made a gift box to put the cards and envies in... Hi all!... I can't believe Christmas is almost here... I also can't believe that the year has gone so fast... I have to say this year really just went so fast, and now the holidays are here again, it feels like just yesterday we were opening Christmas gifts .... okay maybe I am exaggerating just a bit....
I really have been in a big Christmas spirit with making cards and I have some cards for you that I think that are going to knock your socks off or at least I thing so.... My stamp set that I used is Flaky Friends SU stamp set, I brought this set last year before it retired and I am really glad that I got it ... I love the snowmen in this set it is a perfect stamp for adding just a little touch of coloring to make the snowmen pop out...
Well I thought to myself that I wanted to make those card sets that I said that I was going to make for my family and friends that wanted some handmade cards.... I know that they are going to really appreciate anything that I give to them... and that is why I want them to be perfect for them ....

I really didn't go with a traditional Christmas color I used...

OMG... What is wrong with these people....Help me!!

Hi all, I couldn't believe this picture I found in my daughters camera... This is Pink Trouble yes, my daughter named her Pink Trouble... and she fits her name perfect... Well back to what I was talking about I went to use my daughters camera thinking maybe I can have better luck with a clear picture of my projects that I have been working on.... when I go to look at what she had on her memory card I couldn't 't believe my eyes... I can't believe that Pink let her tie her to the chair and stay still to get her picture taken... Pink and my daughter have a very special relationship Pink and Leah can't live without each other... she is my daughters baby she sleeps at the head of the bed and nobody at night can go into the room... just a warning... Okay I am rambling about a dog her is the pic... enjoy ...

I do have some things that I have been working on but I just need to take pictures of them to upload and crop and I hate this part... so as soon as I get it done I will have it uploaded for now enjoy the pic of the dog Pink Trouble...

Really not another Halloween card....

Hi all, here is yet another Halloween card... I am really on the role on making Halloween cards ... I really don't know why I am making so many Halloween cards because I really don't have that many people I can give a Halloween card to... so many people don't celebrate Halloween because of their religious believe which is fine to me ... I can still send to the ones that don't mind getting Halloween cards and my friends that have children they get a kick out of the cards that I make... They like all the card they get happy to get a homemade card... which makes me feel good to know that some people out there still care about the time and effort we put in the cards we make... I just wanted to let everyone know nothing yet I have been on the website to check to see if my test scores have been posted my husband is laughing at me, because I keep checking my post knowing that nothing is going to be posted yet... But I guess I have to see it for myself... Well enough talk about me, I made this tote bag for Halloween I had this DSP from SU that retired just this year... and I never used last year package was still unopened, well not anymore I just opened and used it this what I came up it is a tote bag..... Hi, All... Well it is Sunday.... I can't not explain how happy I am about taking my test on Friday ... when I got to the school were I had to take my test I was scared... I walked all the way to the testing room to find out that we were not allow any cell phones or handbags and purses.... so I had to walk back to my car and that was a length back and forth when I got back to the testing room I was hot and sweaty... when I got we got started on testing and I took the test and I think I passed my test but I don't want to get big headed about it but I think this is something that I don't want to say that I am sure on... until I officially know... we well see... How, is everyone... sorry I haven't posted in such a long time but have been so busy getting ready to take my state test coming really close... Sept. 12th... I can't believe the day is coming this Friday very nerves ...I have been studying very hard, to the last minute... But enough of that I have been stampin but just not posting... or taking pics of the things that I have made for teachers and friends but I have a few things that I have been stampin that are not going anywhere for the moment...

I went to acmoore the other day and they were having a sale on all their stamps sets for 50% off ... my youngest son saw these Halloween clear stamps and wanted me to buy them because of the dog that was dressed up for Halloween with a paper bag over his head... he just thought it was really funny... I am so sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time but, I have been busy with the last few days off school for my kids and still going to school for myself ... and having to do my ride time so I can finish my ride time hours before August.... Well I have 2 1/2 months left of class and then I have to take my state test and pass that's all I have to do, not much... Ha... Well now the kids are out of school and officially driving me crazy already and they only have been out of school for a week ... Well enough about my life ... Oh yeah I haven't even had time to stamp... now that is something to be sad about no stampin time, that means I don't have any, me time, no play time...My project are some quick thank you cards that I made for the teachers to give as a gift, they were very simple no layers just one color CS and two color stamp pads white craft and black...I used purely pomegranate CS and the stamp set is SU Best Blossom the card size are 3x3 ...I hope you like Have a good day...Keep stampin

Picture Frame

Hi all!... Well here I am again not posting everyday but I have been a busy, busy person... I can't believe how my time just goes by so fast .... please excuse me for not posting everyday last week ... I will try harder for the days to come... My posting for today is a name picture frame that I was suppose to make as a b-day gift for one of my neighbors child's b-day... I have been bad and I put it aside and never remembered to finish it... SHAME ON ME!... But I finished it today... and I gave it to her today too... and she loved it... I am so glad for that and I think the baby liked it too she was trying to eat it.... I used pretty in pink and mellow moss CS from SU... I used the same color stamp pads for the colors and for the flowers I used my cuttle bug die cut with pink diamonds and pink ribbon...

Baby Girl

I hope everyone liked the cards that I posted last week... now for this week ... I had no time to post this weekend because I have been very busy making birth announcements for a neighbor... of course needless to say she is having a little girl... This will be the third baby girl on our street...
What I used.... pink paper not stampin card stock I didn't have any 12x12 paper so I just went out and purchased some at ace moore... the color looks real close to pretty in pink... then I used Chocolate Chip from SU... and the ribbon again ace moore matches real good with the paper... the stamp set I used I borrowed from my friend Melinda it is a retired SU stamp set...
The style of the card is a tri-fold I cut 12x5 1/2 the I scored @ 4" and 8" then I folded the scored lines... I used my colozzule to make the oval frame for picture... and I brought these spongie tape tabs that stick on paper but are not permanent so I thought that would be perfect so the receiver of the card can take the picture off with out ruining the picture, the tabs are sticky on both sides so I left the other side covered until ready to use for a picture... I hope that she really likes the cards .... I did ask before I started making the cards if she had any birth announcements in mind and she said no... and that she will be glad to get some.... so I took that as a yes to go ahead... and so I did and this is what I came up with... My camera really started acting dum towards the end of endless picture taking to get a good setting for my pictures to come out half decent... sorry about the picture, hope you like anyway..

Shapes and Shadows

This is a retired stampin up stamp set...Shapes and Shadows ... I forgot I had this set... I was cleaning my stampin room and my youngest asked if he can move into my room because he shared his room with older bother and he wanted a space of his own... so like a wonderful mother that I am I let him have my craft room now my stamps and me are homeless... I hate it but we mothers sacrifice for our kids... he is to happy and I enjoy all the hugs and kisses he gives me for exchange of my room ... any back to the card in the cleaning process I found this set and decided to make a card with it again with white CS... I just love the way it looks... I used 5 colors from the earth elements... pumpkin pie, old olive, green garden, so saffron, chocolate chip and close to cocoa... and a brown ribbon...Have a great and keep stampin ...

Well yesterday, I was looking to make something because again I haven't posted in a while... so I had a few minutes to work on something so I decided to work on a mother's day card ...The colors I used are YoYo Yellow and Tempting Turquoise... The reasons for using these two colors together.... I have this big container of scrap CS that I need to use.... And I plan to use a lot of the paper until at least more than half is used.... I used the In the Spotlight, Hostess set that is retired... I Just finished the words this morning with Happy Mother's Day I got from another retired set that I have called Sweet and Simple Salutations... I couldn't find a stamp set that I have with Happy mother's day... What does that tell you I have to get some more stamp sets.... Stampin Rocks

Lilly B-day Card

Hi! Everyone I finally got to use my Lilly stamp from Pink Cat Studio... After many tries of something I wanted to do my project ended up different... I know I had an idea in my mind but when I started to make my card the colors changed and the style too... Go figure that...
Well I used lavender lace and pretty in pink SU CS...
And the saying is from a retired set from SU Smile....
I love all the dimension I added to this card I started with the wings first I embossed the wings only the outer part with embossing glitter powder I also did the bottom with the same technique... then I colored Lilly with the crayon pencils that I love so much... I really haven't been able to get in tune with the makers yet... I can't seem to color to well with them... But I just love using my crayon pencils.... I colored the Lilly on the bottom and the Lilly on the top... the same color... and put some dimension to Lilly as well... I added a ice cream cone with the b-day hat... I really like this set... I am more than sure that you will be seeing more cards made with this set...

I just had to make one more of the index holders.... I used the same colors that I used yesterday for the thank you card, with the DSP from SU.... I really like the lavender lace and the certainly celery together... It looks great, this time I put 2 eyelets to pass the Ribbon through so it can wrap around the front, that is how they made the one I got from target... It is suppose to be elastic but I still can't find one that I like I am still looking just haven't found time to go to the store... class this evening again...

The one on the top is the back of mines and the bottom picture is the one from target...the one from target as you can see has an elastic I put a ribbon with the eyelets... thank you for taking a look... till tomorrow... Have a nice day!

Hi! Everyone, sorry again, that I haven't posted in a while... on the weekend, my DH, kids and I went to a Spring Fling for a school fundraiser... The kids had a ball... I and I forgot camera at home how dum of me??? and then my daughter had company all weekend so had to have fun with the girls and my little boy is a handful lately... I will still do the tutorial on the index card holder I am still working on it almost finished with it...

Lauren Meader's doing, she made to many cards with this set that I feel in love with it.... So I just had to buy it... But don't worry I still love SU... sometimes we can try something different there is nothing wrong with that...

Well here is the set... It is called Dress Up Lilly...it is to cute....Let me tell you a little about this stamp set it is made of grey rubber not cut out yet... you can glue on ur own blocks or just use acrylic with it... Index card holder

Well sorry everyone that I haven't posted anything in a while but I just have so busy on Wed. my friend Melinda came over and we tried to make this Index card Holder... that holds index cards and then the covers slide a round on the front and back... How did I came up with this idea I went to Target one day and I wanted some index cards to help me study and I came across a index holder the index cards are held by a scrapbook screw...Here is the sample of the one from target... and this one is the one I made... I am going to post a tutorial later.... I have to go and do some errands really don't have time to keep typing... But hopefully I can have that tutorial up tonight... Sorry that I haven't had a chance to Post ... I been a alot busy, Monday I needed to go food shopping and then I had to go home and clean after that it was time for HW with kids, then dinner and last but not least I had to go to class... Class is going good...it is very interesting
Everybody that I tell that I am going to EMT training they say that it is a stressful job... and then they processed to tell me why I choose to do that... I hate that because sometimes it discourages me... But I am sticking to it.... We just learned how to open an airway and what we need to do it with a type of situation when someone has a pulse but is not breathing... and we learned how to take blood pressure... that was my first time learning how to take a BP so it was exciting, it is exciting to learn everything we have been doing.... Now for the last two days , I had to just study because we cover so much in a very fast and short time, we only meet two times a week and for 4hrs... Oh yeah, and yesterday my house was messy and I had to do a very fast cleaning my friend was coming over to stamp with me and it went very fast because and we didn't get a chance to finish our project, by time I knew it I had to go and pick up my kids they all three had dental appointments... and then I had to rush home to do HW with the kids and get ready to go to class .... So hopefully today I get to sit down and play with my stamps lets keep our fingers crossed... Hopefully I get to post later!!!! I have to go and get my kids ready for school this morning...thank you for stopping by...

Can you believe I did this post this morning and I was uploading and the blogger would give me an error page... I tired several times and nothing I couldn't upload the pictures from my computer to the blogger ... it just kept doing the same thing over and over again... Hi all!!! Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday, but I had to study we are covering CPR now... I can't believe how much they cover in such little time... So that means when I am not in class I have to study at home so, I can be ahead of the game... Class is going well for does that know and read my blog... thank you to all that visit.
So back to what I was talking about ... I was telling you about class and how it's going I should tell you one thing that I didn't know that EMT's work 12 hour shifts.... I guess I was the only one on earth that didn't know...After I found out from my instructor how the shifts work out... I was in shock... and when I came home and told my family and friends they said, "everyone knows that"... and they just all laugh at me :( .... Well enough about class... I actually have a workshop tomorrow Woo Hoo!!! I haven't done one in a while ... But the hostess doesn't want to do cards ... I almost started crying when she said that... She just wants simple scrapbook pages... Then I said to my self I am in trouble, because I really don't scrapbook... I just started to do it so I am not to good at it... Well she wanted a baby boy and baby girl, pages ... This is the baby girl of course the little girl in picture is my daughter when she was only 17 months old... She used to chew everything this is a wooden slide she had in her room in NY... and I caught her looking at the handle then chewing and then she found out that I caught her chewing away and she yelled with the innocent look ... I just love the progression of the pictures I took ... Well one thing I have to say about doing a scrapbooking workshop, I get to scrapbook some of the pictures that I have put away in a box... Tomorrow I will post the scrapbook page I made for my oldest when he was about 9 months old he was a cutie.. and my first... Well see you all tomorrow... Oh yeah I forgot to tell you what I used to make my scrapbook page... Here is the Recipe

Itty Birthday

Hello to to all! ... I had a few minutes to stamp today I wanted to make a birthday card and I had purchased the Itty birthday in January and had not used it yet so I took it out to see what I can come up with... and this is what I came up with ... I used wild wasabi, pretty in pink and lavender lace SU CS ... then I stamp the images and then I stamped the images again and cut them out a I used 3-d dots to give dimension... I used again my crayon colored pencils that I just absolutely love to use... But can't stay long I have to take a test tomorrow so I have to go and study :( ... I will post tomorrow but I can't work on anything to hard but I promise I will post see everyone tomorrow and thanks for stampin by....

Simply Simple

I made this card very simple ... My reason for making it simple, it's for a family member that is turning 60 and she is very elegant to me the card is some what elegant to match her...I used the Three for you punch box from SU... and for the saying I used "too much of a good thing is a good thing" from Time well Spent... and in the inside I stamped "Happy Birthday"... I stamped out the flowers with the punch and I stuck a piece of basic grey CS to cover the punched flowers in the inside of the card... then I punched out the flowers for the outside with black CS... and glued some dew drops in the middle of the black flowers... glue the black flowers some what in the middle of the punched flowers to give it character and added the ribbon to the card... The ribbon I got yesterday at Big lots for a dollar for 5yrds... and I liked the colors too, so that was a plus...
I am fighting with my self thinking if I really like the card or not... I think the reason I am not liking it to much, because I used to simple colors black and white... I feel I could have added more ... but who said more is better... not always...... But my hubby thinks it is nice ... that is the word he used "nice" ... so that makes me think twice about my card :( .... well maybe I will be back tomorrow trying to come up with something else, I have till the end of the week before mailing it out to her... so lets see what happens... till tomorrow... I have to take out some time to study :(

Jen's SFYTT

I am on a roll, I did Beate's challenge this weekend .... Now I actually have a chance to try another weekend challenge and I have chosen Jen del Muro SFYTT ... I looked at her challenge and I just starting imagining what I was going to do ....I had already knew which stamp set I wanted to use ... I used SU Hostess ...Time Well Spent... For my CS I used SU Pretty in Pink and Lavender Lace... I started out stampin the butterflies on the white CS and colored and the I stamped the butterfly again and colored..Oh yeah I colored with crayon pencils... I like to use Stampin up pure color pencils and I use Ergo soft color pencils I just love my color pencils... After coloring I cut out the butterflies and curved the wings and glued the middle only on top of the butterflies on the white CS... to give a 3-d look... I used the saying in the same set...and I used some Bling on the saying ... sorry my picture is poor I don't know my camera has a mind of it's own sometimes... Who knows ???

WSC43 Beates Weekend Challenge

Guess what everyone I got to post again today... Yah! I ventured out and I tired Beate's Weekend Challenge... Here is what I came up with I used Basic grey and Certainly Celery SU CS... The stamp set I used is Big pieces from SU... Again this is a new set that I never used...

I have been doing a lot of that using sets that I have brought in the past and just never used them ... I think this is why i love blogging because it gives me a purpose to use my sets and to share my work... I stamped the flower with certainly celery and then I cut it out and I curved up the petals to give it some dimension then I put some BLING to it that I brought from Michael's...They kinda match the certainly celery .... for my saying I used Holidays and Wishes SU stamp set... I used the solid circle from Big Pieces and then I stamped the saying on the top...

and again I couldn't resist to put so more BLING to it... Enjoy!

I have been all wrapped up I don't know were the week has gone... I been trying to get adjusted to going back to school and getting the hang of studying so that means I have to use my brain a lot more... And that calls for work... About the card...my youngest son Brett ... Asst. teacher in his class is having a B-day next week so I wanted to make her card early just in case I don't get a chance during the week to get it done.... I have to make this post short but sweet... I used the stamp set All wrapped UP retired from SU... this is my first time using this set since I brought it... I wanted to do a flower card and I was looking thru my sets and I came across the flower on this set and I just love it.... My colors are Brocade Blue and Purely Pomegranate... and the leaves are from time well spent.... Bugs and Kisses

Well everyone I had a kinda busy day today, and when I say busy ... with the kids it seem they wanted everything under and over the sun.... since the time they woke up.... Every time I sat down someone wanted something or needed something... Then my husband had to go to work for while... but when he came home I told him to take his daughter to go and see Mims Island... I think I spelled it correct....Mims Island.. she had been bugging all week to take her to see it...

And when they left it was just me and the boys... they get along better when Leah is not home... but they still bugged me every moment .... I want a sandwich or ice cream or etc, etc, etc and etc.....

Sometimes I wish I had a Cook, Maid, and a Nurse... Oh yeah and a driver to drive everyone everywhere.... Ahhh ... I can dream...

Well enough lets take about my card I copied this one from the Stampin' Up Catty... I changed just a bit... I put a little spin to it... not to much used the same colors but I designed it a bit different... Hope you guys like it....

Hey, Everyone Sorry I haven't posted in a few days ... But after making that Altered lunch box I was stamped out... and I am still trying to get use to the fact that I am going to school at my age... I decided after my youngest started school it is time for mommy to move her but into gear... So I made the decision to go to get certified as an EMT... Now you might be asking why an EMT? ... I love the adrenaline of helping people in need and I just like to feel needed... Well Enough about that...

Here is my posting for today I made this card again my last one for Nancy my MM... This is my last card for March... I really liked making these cards each week and sending them out... Anyway I hope to join this months Monday Mailer too... Aprils MM is using DS SU Paper that is current with an accessory...

This card I made with chocolate chip As you see I love chocolate chip... and i used Wild Wasabi... and for the stamp set I used.. Forever in my Heart... I stamped the three hearts across then I stamp three more on a separate paper and cut out the hearts and used 3-d dots to mount on top to give some dimension... I is nice and simple... Altered Lunch Box

Hey! Everyone I know I haven't post all weekend but I have been busy... I had knew my husbands boss wife is having a baby and of course I told my husband that I would make something for them.... Well time passed never got to it and she had her baby on Friday evening....
had a 8lb baby boy.... Wow! ....
Well I already had an idea and I just had to pull out the stuff and start working on it... For a long time I wanted to make a Lunch box scrapbook and I finally made one it took me the whole weekend hence I had to stop and take care of the family in between... they just can't seem to live with out me...
I finally finished it... I really don't do much scrapbooking or decorating boxes but I think I did a pretty good job decorating this lunch box...

This is the outside.... I had went to ACmoore and brought the paper I thought it was just the paper I needed because I know my Husband is going to give it to his boss... And I thought it would probably nice for his boss to keep it on his desk at work with pictures of his sons growth...

I started out using the stampin set from SU, Babies First I took each stamp and made an index card with a slot holder for a picture of each first....

First time crawling
First tantrum
First bath
First steps
First Words

Then I made white envelopes that have two 4x4 cards with the 1 month - 12 months .... the cards are for pics of the baby's growth each month ....
I know I could have done more with it but I waited till the last minute, and I wanted him to bring it to him tomorrow... I hope they like it...

This is the inside with everything in it ... it has enough room to grow with the baby...

Guess what, I am on a stampin marathon... I can't believe that my kids are only bothering me today for food and snacks .... Wooo Hooo.... So I have been stampin all day.... Here is my last card with Farm Fever... This bee is the cutest thing ever... Well my out come with this set to me was good... See what you can do with a set that you have brought and never used... you have to use every stamp in the set... I hope you try the challenge... thank you..
Card Recipe, SU CS: YoYo Yellow, Real Red, Gable Green... I used the 1 1/4 square punch to make the rectangle on the front of card as a window to show the Buzzin' Around... and I used three different circle punch to make the circles... again i used my crayon colored pencils to color the bee yellow...

This is my third card with Farm Fever this Set contains four stamps... So that means I have one more to go.... I have had a hard time trying to come up with some ideas with this set don't know why???... But I like what I have so far... The Recipe for this card is SU CS, Basic grey, pretty in pink and black, and again I used my crayon colored pencils to color in the sheep... which again I love them... I can't believe I was able to post twice so for today... My kids are off school for Spring break this week... We did some spring cleaning the first few days and today we just straighten up the usual everyday mess... as everyone knows that has kids .... they were complaining the whole time, but I also remind them that I do this everyday while they are in school ...They just love that...
Back to stampin, I will post the last one later this evening or maybe tomorrow lets see what happens... Keep stampin

My Farm Fever Challenge

Well, I got to post early this morning I used Farm Fever again... I used this set once before and yesterday so today I decided to try something else with it ... My own challenge, is to make a card with each stamp that is in the set so look for more later ... You should try it as well take a set that you have brought and never use because you might have thought it was something that you can come home and play with... But never found anything to do with it... If you do try my Challenge send me a link with your cards that you made...leave your link in my comments under this card... but remember you have to use the whole set together in one card or separate cards....Try my Challenge
I used Basic grey and Real Red SU CS, I colored the Pig with my crayon colored pencils that i love to use they are so soft... And for the embossing I used the spots and dots folder from cuttlebug... and white ribbon..

Teethless

Well It finally happened my teethless child... there is a funny story behind his losing his upper front tooth today... My husband and I are seating in our room talking, then we hear Mr. BG coming up, but crying... So I say "What Now!"... Well he comes in the room with his mouth semi bloody and trying to say that his older brother knocked his tooth looser.... So now I am looking at his mouth and his tooth is bleeding and dangling by a couple of roots... Well you know how men are so strong... I said "Hun Look at his tooth" his respond is "I saw it already" (Yeah right) ....
Well Mr. BG my child while his tooth is dangling and bleeding is telling me what happen and I am laughing (bad mommy) because he is trying to talk and every time he talks his tooth is moving... So I told my husband we are going to have to pull his tooth out ...it is dangling to much and he might swallow it... daddy says "it's okay, he well be fine" not even looking at his bloody child mouth... so I had to take charge of the situation... I took my child and I told him that tooth had to come out... and he asked how ...And I simply told him, tying a string around the tooth and pulling it out... he was all for it he said he was not going to stay like that.... so I am looking for a string and I guess I was taking to long so he grabbed the dental floss ... Okay my son has a brain ... well I tied the floss on his tooth... then it came to the moment of pulling and I couldn't do it... told daddy to do it... Daddy is not looking our way... then I hear a soft noise hit the floor and my baby boy took a hold of his string and pulled his own tooth out... and then he said "I did already"... And I am just looking at him in amazement ...So we went into the bathroom rinsed his mouth, rinsed his tooth, to get it ready for the tooth fairy ... and that is the End of the teethless child story... WOW! Thank You .... for reading my family moment....

Farm Fever

Well this is my second card I got to make today ... I was just trying to get some cards out that need to be sent to some friends... I made this one for a friend that her son just had Hip surgery...
About 3yrs ago, he got a staff infection in his back and the infection was so bad that it spread to his Hip bone... He had to have surgery 3yrs ago for it because the infection had weekended the Hip.... Well as the years past he has been having Hip problems and had surgery again... The surgery he just had will hopefully help him from having a Hip replacement at 17yrs old... The doctors told his mom that what they did this time might prevent him from not having a Hip replacement for the next 5yrs... I know my friend is under a lot of stress not only is she dealing with her sons well being... she works nights as a nurse and is going to school to finish her RN... and has to younger children that she tends too... But I know she also has a great support system with her DH and kids... I have her in my thoughts always... and because I know she has to be utterly exhausted ... I used the cow in Farm Fever... again used Pretty in Pink for the card and black CS with a black velvet ribbon...I colored the cow with crayon colored pencils which I love to use...

Yesterday we went to the park it was a gorgeous day the weather was just beautiful... Well these are some of the pictures that I took while we were there... So that means I have to do a scrapbook page... this week....

Okay you got to see my daughter last week... this is a picture of my baby, my youngest son... Brett is 6yrs old and he is my baby and he knows it too... And he doesn't care that I still cradle him every once in while and call him my little baby boy... But I have a secret he is getting to heavy, to even sit on my lap... I have a problem with that... Were has time gone... to fast for me...

It is so funny he had one tooth loose, that fell out and then 4 more followed so all his front is either gone or loose...

Notebook with Pen Tutorial

Well I have never posted a tutorial... So bare with me... I have to note that all the note pads that you get are not going to be the same size that I am using so you have to alter your recipe to the size you need.... But I still hope that my tutorial gives you an idea on what to do...
I needed
Supplies Needed
-card stock (color or ur choice)
-Accents & Element (ur choice)
-ribbon (ur choice)
-hobby knife
-sticky strip
-note pad (depending on size you will have to alter ur pattern)
Step 1
Cut ur card stock: 51/2"x 8"
Step 2
starting scoring @ the width end @
1/4", 3/4", 1 1/8" and 1 1/2"
Step 3

You will now cut slits for the pen.
Cut across the scored lines at the 3rd and 4th scored lines
Cut about 1 1/2" thick this is the part that folds out for the
pen holder.
Fold all scored lines

Step 4
use your sticky strip to tape every other scored sides.
Not were the pen goes that stays pop out.
then start folding to make ur side holder area for pen.

Step 5
stick your pad with sticky strip on the back..
Before I stuck mines down to the pad holder I decorated the top
of my pad that is option you have, Make it ur own if you want or
try mines I hope that my tutorial was understandable to you...

Notebook with Pen

I was sitting here in my room and I was thinking about the notepad with pen, about a month ago I went to the Dollar Tree store.. and I was just looking around in the stationary section and I came across these notepads there were 8 lists pads 3in x 7.5in in size...

When I finally took them out to use I saw that they were thinner then the ones you get from office depot... When I tired to make the notepad with pen it didn't look correct because the pads were to thinner, what can except I am getting 8 pads for a dollar... So I came up with a different idea.... I didn't make it with the cover... My idea looks like a clip board and I also put a magnet on the back to hang on the fridge for a reminder list.... I well post a tutorial later this evening ... Well I try to make a tutorial i never have done one before so this one if I get it will be my first...Hope everyone likes it...

Happy B-day

Hey everyone... I had to come home today to make a last minute B-day card for my daughters friend... I thought I was going to have until 3/27 but my daughter got the days mixed up and the little girls B-day is today..... Well as you know she told me yesterday or lets say last night...

Then as you know the gift factor comes in so I had to run out and get the gift first then come home and make a card... And I also have to go to the school for a very fast meeting for my daughter... So I cheated, I didn't use stamps at all... I made a stop to Michael's and got cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder... Oh! yeah! they have there cuttlebug merchandise on sale 20% off... And I came home and tried it out I loved it.... It is amazing the things they come out with.... just more stuff for use to buy... I use white card stock and SU CS: Pixxie Pink the scraps that I had left from, last nights Pillow boxes... And this is the card I came up with...

Teachers Easter Gifts

I just finished making these treats for the teachers at my son and daughters school ... I made 9 treat boxes I give up for tonight I have to turn in for the night, I need my beauty sleep. I didn't do it earlier because I was just not feeling it today, if you know what I mean, I Hope some one out there understands what that means. I spent my day laying on the couch, finally I scrapped myself off and tended my family and eased myself into my stampin room...I originally wanted to make treat baskets but to much work and i definitely did not have enough energy today... Oh well, maybe next time....Enough of my gripping... I filled each Pillow box with Dove choco eggs, I fit as many as I could fit in the box, 4 fit in there perfect.... What did I use?

Well guess what, I came home and I had to make a card and post my lattes ... It is Monday and I wanted to get some stampin in before my kids get home ... So who cares that the floor didn't get mopped or my dishwasher has to go on or laundry has to get washed ... I just wanted to get a few moments in for myself ...I am going to use this set one more time, it is my favorite set at the moment .. Well it is Saturday, so far I have had a wonderful relaxing day, I finished some stamping that I needed to get done, very glad that I had this chance to get it done... And then I had some more time ... WoHo... To get some more stampin in...
So I made the cards that are posted below... and the one on top...
I love bold brights SU CS, It is just so Bold and Bright...
Well I know I shouldn't be posting this the top card yet, but I made the last 2 Monday mailers for Nancy Carr from (NC demo groups) and I forgot to take pictures of the cards before I sent the cards to her... So I didn't get a chance to post my first 2 MM...

I think they went really goo together I love it!

Thank you! Everyone that comes and visits my blog... I can't believe I already have 500 hits... It couldn't happen with out you guys visiting...
And thank you for all your comments... Just remember when I Hit my 1000 Hits I am going to have my first blog candy...
I am really excited when I first started to build my blog I was thinking ... how in the world was I going to get everyone to visit and get known...
Well I joined some Yahoo groups that are stampin related and I visited other blogs that are stampin related and left comments to all those wonderful creations... that everyone has posted on there blogs...

Well it seems like this week I had no time for myself...Because it was Dr. Seuss B-day and my kids school was celebrating it all week I was excited to participate going to school everyday to read... As well they were having a door contest, the best door decorated with something that has to do with one of the books of Dr. Seuss wins a Pizza party for there class... Well my sons class didn't win .... But that was okay because we all had fun working together and learning about Dr. Seuss. They are only in kindergarden and they worked hard and learned a lot....
I really gave a lot of my time to there teachers and of course the teachers and the students love it... Oh and how can I forget my baby Brett Loves that mommy comes and helps too...
Enough about that lets back to business...Again sorry I haven't posted this week but hopefully this week will be better... I have been working really hard to come up with something... I had a Monday mailer to do first and I came up with something can't post yet....I have to wait to post the card until my Monday mailer receives it first ...
Then I started making make card for my posting and this is what I came up with... Again I came out of my comfort zone and I used Rich Regal colors I am really starting to like certain colors... I love dark colors... Here is Card Recipe...

Well here is my post for today, It is a bit late, but today I have had a busy day ... For the first time living here in NC I actually entered to Charlotte in a new territory with out my husband... Usually he takes me everywhere and teaches me how to get there... Let me explain why???? Well I am from NY and I have never driven a car or had a license to drive, so when I moved to NC, I had to learn to drive and the tricky part of learning to drive was paying attention to traffic and finding your way around too, all at the same time while your driving ?????? In NY, I just walked to the bus or train and took it to my destination. Peace a cake, hey you can eat a cake while getting to where you need to get... Can't do that while driving...Well I went into Mathews from Concord and I made it there, then when I got there, I found out I had to do it all over again going home :((( .... But I made it home too... :))) Yeah !!! Well Back to Stampin Talk.. I have been on a kick for baby cards don't know why... But this is what I came up with this SU set...

Can you believe it is 3rd month of the year. How time just flies, well it has been a long weekend sometimes I wonder why I make life so hard for myself... Well I am not going to sit here and ramble on so lets get to stampin business... So I haven't posted in a while ... Today I made myself sit down and come up with a card.. I had never purchased any of the Rich Regals paper and stamps sets... Then some time in Nov. I purchase a pack of assortment of Rich Regals and the stampin spots and haven't tried them until today... I used the Rose Red and Regal Rose... I see these colors used a lot and I think they look great together... Now for the stamp set I used the Polka Dots & Paisley and Polka Dots & Petals ... I used dots to give the card some 3-d look to it... I hope you like my Card... Post a comment if you like my card... When I get to my 100th comment I am going to give away a blog candy... I made some Baby Announcements for a neighbor, I used a retired set from SU, The first card is the front and when you open the card I have the stamp part to put babies info... Then the picture of the baby, you can just slide it in the little half of an envelope that i made up just slide the picture in.. which the envelope was made with vellum paper... Hey Everyone well it is Monday morning, and i have some time to download because of President day, the kids don't have school and i don't have to drive anyone "Yeah"... It was brought to my attention that i was not feeling well on Friday evening and woke up Saturday morning feeling like someone beat me up.... My body ached, i had fever and no taste to anything that i drank or ate... But Sunday i felt some where on a scale of 1-10 an 7, 10 being the worst and today i feel like a 5 right at the middle... It could have been worse i could've felt like a 10 all weekend....Well enough about my cold .... my youngest is also feeling better he had strip throat and scarlet fever last week.... but he was feeling better by thursday.... Well i was looking at my blog last night and i wanted to post my first slide show and i had a bit of trouble trying to post a slide show, it is not as easy as some people make it out to look like... i was working on it last and couldn't get it, So i finally gave up last night and i jumped on this morning and guess what i got it "Yeah" so Everyone this is my first slide show, the cards that you are viewing on the right hand side is a Mail Swap that i had done last month ... I got the swaps in Feb. so i wanted to share my swaps hope you enjoy.... Now for the 2 cards on my post are the make and takes that i had done at my first meeting of the year .... One card is made with SU Happy Heart Day stamp set and the other SU Nursery Necissites till later or tomorrow....
